A Long History With Downriver Basketball
Why Downriver Basketball Players Train at The Factory
The Factory has a long history of training outstanding boys and girls basketball players from communities throughout Downriver.
Our connection to Riverview basketball has been especially strong. The majority of the Riverview girls varsity team that made back-to-back State Quarterfinal appearances in 2022 and 2023 trained at The Factory, including several athletes who went on to play college basketball.
Among them was Samantha Dorn of Riverview High School, who continued her basketball career at Concordia University and has since returned to The Factory as a coach.
Other Riverview athletes include Cadence Kaminske, who went on to play at Alma College, and Elyssa Kincaid, who continued her career at Cedarville University.

We've also worked with Amy Jackson and Sara Serbantez of Flat Rock, along with many other Downriver athletes over the years.

From Factory Athlete to Factory Coach
Samantha Dorn came to The Factory as a player from Riverview High School before continuing her basketball career at Concordia University.
