Staff Bio: Rich Sherwood

Coach Rich Sherwood has been coaching middle school and high school boys and girls basketball for nearly 20 years. He has also coached travel basketball for more than 15 years and founded Factory Basketball in 2013.

Coach Sherwood's teams have competed in some of the top travel basketball tournaments in the country, including winning four championships at Run 4 Roses, one of the largest and most competitive travel basketball events in the world.

Throughout his coaching career, Coach Sherwood has helped send more than 50 players on to play college basketball at the NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA and JUCO levels. Overall, nearly 100 former Factory Basketball players have gone on to play college basketball.

At The Factory, Coach Rich teaches our Pivot Foot and Advanced Rebounding classes and leads our Classroom Series Instruction, helping athletes develop not only their physical skills, but also their understanding of the game.
