Trainer Bio: Andrew Leamy

Coach Andrew Leamy knows what it takes to be part of a winning college basketball program. During his first two years at Henry Ford Community College, Andrew played on one of the top JUCO teams in the nation, finishing 3rd in the National Tournament in both the 2020–21 and 2021–22 seasons.

Competing every day in practice alongside All-Conference teammates gave Andrew valuable experience in a high-level environment and reinforced the importance of hard work, discipline, and consistency. After two seasons, Andrew transferred to the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where he became a key contributor in scoring and perimeter play. He was also one of the team's top free-throw shooters, connecting on 85.5% from the line.

As a trainer, Coach Andrew places a strong emphasis on fundamentals, discipline, and doing the little things consistently. While athletes often want to learn advanced moves and combinations, Andrew believes a strong foundation in the fundamentals gives players the ability to expand their game and ultimately excel in their role.

Coach Andrew works with athletes of all ages and skill levels, teaching group classes in addition to offering private lessons. His areas of expertise include Finishing School and Shooting Form, and he also leads our 60-Minute Skills classes.
