The Number ONE Career Killer

I recently came across this article on LinkedIn that applies just as much to young athletes on sports teams as it does to adults in their careers.  The article by Suzy Welch covers what she labels the Number ONE career killer for adults.  Boss Hating.  In the case of young athletes, it is Coach Hating.  The quickest way to find your athletic career fizzle out, is to be a coach hater.  If you are always questioning your coach, or complaining, coaches notice, and none will want you, no matter how talented you are. 

If your goal is to play collegiate sports, you will want to learn this lesson NOW before its too late. But for the vast majority of athletes, those who will not play college sports, this is your opportunity to learn this important life lesson now that will prepare you for success as an adult. By learning these lessons now through sports, you will find yourself far ahead of your competition when your sports careers are finished.
