Our Facility - The Factory
This is where all the magic happens. We designed The Factory for TRAINING. Our 'Wall of Rims' is like nothing else anywhere. It is specifically designed to maximize shots and individual instruction from our trainers. Each of our 6 secondary rims has its own quick foldout rebounder so our athletes can spend less time chasing the ball, and more time locking in their shooting mechanics. The close proximity of the rims allows our trainers to give more attention to our athletes during our Shooting Form classes. More supervised quality reps means quicker improvement.
On the Opposite end of the court from our Wall of Rims, we have one Main Rim and two secondary rims. This end of the court is designed to maximize reps for our athletes while allowing maximum interaction with our trainers. These three rims allow 12-15 athletes to each get plenty of reps in one of our skills classes such as Finishing School or Pivot Foot Class all under the close supervision of one trainer. Again, more supervised quality reps means quicker improvement.
In addition to our rims, this wall also houses our Wall Mounted Resitance Training System. This system allows up to 16 athletes at a time to do restance speed training. There are 4 stations that each accomodate up to 4 athletes, allowing a full team to complete an intense speed training workout in under 15 minutes. There is nothing else like it in Metro Detroit.
Our ceilings are high and are equipted with amazing energy efficient LED High Bay lighting that really brings the gym to life. The last item to notice is our shot clocks that are at each end of the court. Every class, workout, camp or practice at The Factory utilizes the clocks so trainers and athletes always know how much time they have remaining. Time is our most limited resource, so we make sure its never wasted.
Mid Court Hoops & Our Wall Honoring Our Players
We have two additional Full Size backboards on either side of mid court. These allow Trainers to conduct private lessons while classes are in session, or for us to accomodate another class such as Handles. On the back wall are flags and banners celebrating many of our athletes who have gone on to play at the collegiate level. We currently have two banners up honoring two who are now college coaches.
Our Army of D-Men & Crossbars
We have every piece of training equipment you can think of to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your workouts. This includes an army of D-Men, dozens of Crossbar Dribble Trainers, Solo Assist Rebounders for passing to yourself, and the The Vert vertical leap training machine.
Advanced Shooters can get up hundreds of shots in just 30 minutes on The Gun. We have a Shoot-a-Way 10K Gun that can be booked in 30 minute increments.
Don't Bring a Ball
You never need to bring a basketball to The Factory because we have two racks full of Men's and Women's Basketballs. We also have 26.5" balls for our Little ballers.
